      Hi Lizzie,

      Not until I stumbled across the advert for the apprenticeship online!

      I knew I wanted to be an Engineer since I was about 15 years old. I liked tinkering with motorbikes and other machines and I also enjoyed Maths and Physics at school. Engineering is a combination of all 3 so it suits me down to the ground.

      I was all ready to go to university full time to study Mechanical Engineering when I saw the advert and realised I could get my university fee’s paid, get loads of work experience and a guaranteed job at the end. It was a no brainer really!
