Not really, it does some amazing things, but being an engineer you understand that it’s basic principles are actually quite simple.
I’ve had to teach myself some CAD skills to be able to make the most of it, and I think that’s been the hardest part.
I do a lot of challenging things with 3d printing and for some of them I’ve found that a lot of the practical skills I learned as an apprentice have been really really useful. Even though I was an apprentice many years ago now you never forget or lose those skills you learn when you are young.
