The answer is of course I would! Engineering is a brilliant field to go into but its certainly not the easiest. You need to have a passion for understanding how thing work or how they’re made. You also need good abilities in Maths and the Sciences.
However I really believe that anyone can become an Engineer if they want it badly enough and are willing to put in the effort to study hard.
Engineering can take you all over the world and you can meet lots of different people. Best of all there are lots of jobs for engineers right now so you’ve got a good chance of finding work.
Hi I Love Brownies!
I like brownies too! 😉
I would definitely recommend it – I wouldn’t be here if I wouldn’t:)
It’s very rewarding to see that your hard work contributes to a creation of a great product whether it is a new building, a train, a jet engine or an aeroplane 🙂
Absolutely, if we didn’t we wouldn’t be taking part in this initiative.
The great things about engineering are the huge number of different jobs that you can do as an engineer, the fact that the work is really interesting (and often no two days are the same), and best of all you get to make stuff for a living.
I would definitley recommend it after two careers in it. Not everyone need be a top engineer. Some are happy being an Engineer and some an Engineering Technician. Whatever you are happy with.
Sorry I’ve taken a while to answer your questions!
Absolutely, yes! Generally speaking, engineers get very good job satisfaction – I am yet to meet one who doesn’t love their job. There’s always chance to progress or something new to do! Also, engineering in the UK is recognised and highly respected across the world – allowing many engineers from the UK to travel whilst they work! Obviously all these bonuses don’t come without the hard work… But I never think of it as hard work because I know it’s what I need to do to get what I want! 😀
