Depends how you define success, i haven’t yet grown a kidney but i have made steps which could help advance the field.

Kidney tissue engineering isn’t a very well developed field so there is lots of research to do. I have grown kidney cells from a rat on a scaffold which helps us understand what materials and structures kidney cells like to grow on. I have some pretty big experiments coming up in the next few weeks which will hopefully be successful.
