• Question: Is anyone in your family an engineer andif they are what do they do?

      Not strictly, but I have some family (not immediate family) that are similar to engineers. they work in chip manufacturing and design, but most of my family are not.

      I was the first in my family to go to University, and since me, there have been quite a few others that have followed. But I am also the first to study a post-graduate degree (in my case a PhD).

      Most of my mum’s family were musicians, including my mum.
      My dad worked in IT and was incredibly fascinated on science and technology, so I like to say that my dad is a self-taught scientist.

      So I guess no, I am the first one in the family 😀
