• Question: My Dad was ginger in Primary School but became black haired after and he didn't dye it. How?

      I am certainly not an expert in genetics but I was kind of blond when I was born and then my hair went a lot darker as an adult

      We dont really know the answer for this (as far as I know!)

      But its something to do with genes expressed in later life that aren’t expressed in early life. It happens, and is not uncommon even with peoples eye colour.
