• Question: what do you want to make/do in the future?

      I’d love to be able to engineer more artificial body parts for my experiments. This would not only further reduce the need for potential animal testing for drugs etc, but allows a lot more research to be done for infection studies that we cant currently do at a reasonable cost.

      Think skin infections, long-standing wounds that wont/dont heal that become infected.. these models will help us understand and potentially treat these conditions!

      After my PhD, I’ll be looking for post-doctoral research jobs, with a view to stay in universities and go into lecturing and supervision!
