0 Question: What type of formulae do you use in your robotic masterpieces? Is it complicated?? Is there a part about physics in it (How gravity affects artificial limbs)? I'm very interested in engineering! Keywords: formulae, physics, robotic Asked by ThinkNoodles to Zach on 14 Mar 2017.
Zach Welshman answered on 14 Mar 2017:
So the basis for the software i’m using is multi-body dynamics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multibody_system) applied to biomechanics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biomechanics). A lot of other reseachers in my group use Finite Element Analysis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finite_element_method) to solve biomechanical problems too. There’s some pointers to some mathematical tools engineers use to solve biomechanics problems, hope this spikes your interest further for physics in engineering.
