      Hi,

      I think mine would have to be an engineer called Hugh Herr: https://www.media.mit.edu/people/hherr/overview/

      He is a double amputee following a climbing accident and he has turned this into a positive experience and is now designing as well as improving prosthetic devices – very inspirational!
