  Probably the one I’m currently working on. The project I’m currently working on is to do with an upgrade to the Type 45 Warship’s engines. This is a really exciting project as it’s one of the biggest upgrades the ship has ever had.

  This is the best project in my opinion, as we will be making the ships safer and more reliable, which is super important to ensure they can be deployed!

The best project i worked on was when i was sent into the middle of a desert on my own to have the site prepared for drilling a well and creating a loading station from which produced oil could be put in tanker and transported by road. I ended up getting a road built to access the site, a portable office built with a loo on the side, Diesel generators set up to get electricity… none of which i was taught in university to do. It was scary to start with but a great lesson for me in becoming self sufficient.

After the old flag pole snapped in half at Edinburgh Castle I made sure the new one wouldn’t and instead of being a normal flag pole its actually now retractable so the entire pole (and flag) can be brought down inside the tower
