No, I 3D print microchips to analyse cells (which hopefully will lead on to microchips that can scan cells for disease. Sort of like a doctor shrank onto a microchip 🙂 )

There are lots of engineers who are developing 3D-printed body parts though- a big example is printed arms or legs for people born without one or who have lost one in an accident (). These limbs can be custom-made (meaning, they fit the person exactly, & look exactly how they want 🙂 )

My favourite case is of a dog called Derby who was born with deformed legs and couldn’t walk. A company 3D-printed leg replacements for him and now he can walk & run 🙂
