That’s a great question! They haven’t been yet, but that’s because we need to make sure they’re completely safe before we use them on the public. The process of testing them takes a lot of time, and also a fair bit of boring writing, but it’s very, very important. In fact, engineers can sometimes (not always) go to jail if something they make harms someone!
Same here, medical things take a long time to hit the market to ensure they are safe and efficacious. Last week, we demonstrated a pretty cool eye surgery robot concept, it hasn’t hit the press yet, but should do in the coming few weeks,
