I have not heard of the term before – so I had to google it. Well, it seems that the bone structure in X-ray looks different from usual arrangement. In that case, we can have a routine imaging sessions to see if the sweeping gets worse. Also if there is a noticeable difference between two points of time, we can predict the extent of damage and could actually accelerate the treatment process (surgery or increasing the dosage of medicine). However, frankly it is much more complicated to give a direct answer for this question because it depends on the risk factors of the disease, possible complications or physical/metabolic conditions of the body. Good luck for your quick recovery!
