      a Bachelor degree either by going straight to Uni or by going to an apprenticeship and studying while you work, great way into engineering too.

      As Sylvain says, a Bachelors degree or an apprenticeship are the main options. To get into a bachelors degree you usually need to do well in maths and either physics or chemistry (both is even better) at high school.

      I agree with the others. I do not know how it works here, but in India it is possible to do a mathematics + science based undergraduate and go for engineering as well.
