I chose it so that I can help other researchers get more information about cancer to help treat it and diagnose it better – this would have a massive impact on patients.

3D pens look amazing – I saw the kickstarter videos and it looks really fun, I’m pretty jealous of anyone who’s got to use one!

3D pens look cool but I have never used one

Some people in other countries can’t afford to see a doctor, or live very far away from one. I think it’s really sad and unfair that they have to struggle like that. I want them to be able to buy (or have posted to them) a cheap, mini device that can tell them what’s wrong with them! (so like, have a doctor posted to their door!)

And also, with very infectious diseases, doctors who test patients for them are at risk of catching it themselves. But if we send microchips out to people to use instead, then the doctors are kept safe!

No but I wish I could have a go on one! They’re ace

Nope, I have not used 3D pen but i would like to.

The application of this research in developing clinical software (which assist clinicians and doctors in identifying the disease) motivated me since I was grateful that I could save someone or make their life better.
