About Me
Hi there! I am a PhD researcher at The University of Manchester â Made in China and Delivered to UK đ. I'm looking at how electrical power systems respond to extreme weather events such as flooding đ. Fun and socially helpful, isn't it? Furthermore, I have ~4 years of experience tutoring teenagers in programming đģ, and I really enjoy the vibe I get with my students = younger friends đ§đĻ.

My Typical Day: You know, I'm a student just like you đŠâđ! So my day is pretty much like yours. From sunrise đ to sunset đ, I learn new things, complete "school work", etc. After school đĢ, (I would set my own time, sometimes as early as 3pm, sometimes later than 11pm, depending on how well the task was done), I would also have fun with my friends âšī¸ââī¸âšī¸ââī¸. Relaxing and refreshing allowed me to tackle many difficult problems when I returned to my studies â.

What I'd do with the money
I will design a one-day Research Retreat, using the prize money to pay for the students' travel and meals, and invite them to my office in Manchester to work on their own and complete a project (which I will tailor to them, an interesting Energy-related project). They will play the role of PhD students and I will ask them questions as an intrigued teenage student.
