Go for it. Same advice as I would give a young boy, girls are just as good at engineering as boys. In some ways better as they have a different viewpoint sometimes. The president of the royal academy of engineering is a woman https://www.raeng.org.uk/about-us/people-council-committees/the-president
Imagine your dream engineering job and send them an email and ask if they take on work experience students. Start getting hands on experience, get an Audiuno if you like electronincs, or fix cars if you like mechanical, if you don’t know then visit your local Uni open day.
Hey Kirsty! Soz to butt in! but just want to agree with Graeme here!
Engineering is for everyone! i have come across some people in my life where they have thought otherwise and expected me to fail, however this just makes me want to prove them wrong! and i have!
There is nothing you can’t do! and do not be put off by anyone telling you can’t, these are the people who will be left behind when you push on and continue to make yourself better.
