Engineering can be very stressful at times! trying to pull everything into one place and relying on lots of people is hard but i wouldn’t change a thing! (well maybe some people! but that’s the same in every job!)
I enjoy engineering because i feel like i understand more and more about why certain things have been done in specific ways down to the simplest of things like why the hand of your cup is shaped the way it is!

It can be stressful, you can spend years on making something and then it explodes, and thats not a great feeling, but you learn from it. But when it works its really exciting. You are often making something that never existed before that could potentially change the world.
Like every job there are stressful moments, and moments when you feel like you’re on the top of the world. What’s great about engineering though is that during those stressful times, you always know that what you’re doing is having a good impact on how things get done, and that gives you a boost!
I really enjoy engineering. I would say it is more challenging than stressful. Sure there are days when things aren’t quite going to plan or something completely unexpected has happened and you have to react quickly but usually these are few and far between. Personally I can get stressed very easily so I have been lucky to be able to build working practices and processes for me and my teams that try and take some of the sting out of potentially stressful situations.
I am really enjoying engineering, each day is different and I like solving lots of cool science-y problems (except when I caused the problem haha). It can be really heckin’ stressful, especially since I’m part of a huuuge team working on JET. So everything I do affects basically everyone I work with D: But I’m really enjoying my job 🙂
