• Question: Did you have another job before you became an engineer?

      Yes, I worked in a bank after my A/L for about 6 months, until I got my results. That was my first job in an office. Then just after my graduation, I worked as an assistant lecturer in Chemistry in my university in Sri Lanka.

      I had a Saturday job working at a garden centre! I worked on the tills and sometimes collecting up the trolleys.

      While I was at school I work ed part time as a waiter and barman in a local restaurant – but this was only to get work experience and earn some money to support my studies which were always focused on an engineering career.
