• Question: What things use the most of the world's energy?

      Heating, transport and lighting! The things everyone uses every day.

      This is why for a cleaner future lots of people see electrification of heating and transport as very important. Because if it’s all powered by electricity we can get the energy from sustainable sources (maybe fusion energy in the future!).

      My guess is factories and anything that produces big stuff like cars and big appliances uses quite a lot because they need a lot of power to shift all the big, heavy individual parts around the factory alone! Also, even if manufacturing smaller stuff uses less energy, we consume more of it.

      This highlights the importance of “reduce, reuse, recycle” – many household goods not only take a lot of energy to produce, but also to recycle so it’s important to recycle them properly or give to a charity shop if they’re still working, instead of just throwing out!

      I totally agree with Steven, For Home appliance it would Heating and Clothes Dryers

      And globally , it definitely would be transportation, rail travel, air, energy burnt in vehicles

      And finally guess, maybe Minning Factories
