• Question: What type of clean energy do you think we will use the most in the future?

      That depends how far into the future you look – and how optimistc on technology development you are!

      In the near future, wind power will make the biggest contribution to clean energy generation in the UK and Europe. But beyond 2030, it get’s much more uncertain. It’s also very different depending on which country you live in. Here in the UK we are very lucky to have a lot of wind and coast – but at the equator, Solar PV may have the biggest potential.

      Using these new resources means that we have to develop ways of storing energy – a lot of research is being done on this across the world!
