• Question: Why did you pick this type of engineering, out of the others?

      I really enjoyed my GCSE electronics course; plus I was fascinated by the way we can just plug devices into the sockets at home and they work! There’s a whole network of generators, transmission, distribution, regulation and energy markets to make that happen!

      Combining these two together made me want to go and do Electrical and Electronic engineering at University. It was there that I decided the electrical power stuff that I work on now was the most interesting.
