      I was just curious to see what it is like to chat with others about science.

      I thought it would be fun and interesting to chat to young people about what my job is like and maybe understand how they see it too. Also, I’m hoping to inspire more people to become engineers!

      Engineering is a misrepresented career and I wanted the opportunity to talk directly with young people to show them its actually quite cool and really diverse. I also would like to see more young women consider it an option as it is extremely rewarding for anyone who wished the challenge.

      A lot of people think engineers are just people in hard hats holding clipboards! Hopefully we can encourage you to look into engineering and science and see how many different things you can really do.
