  Yes, I always thought I’d have a good name for a singer if engineering didn’t work out!

  I do, although it can still get mangled when someone tries to pronounce it for the first time. It’s only 4 letters, how do people get it so wrong?!

  I didn’t like it when I was a kid, always having to spell it out and having to put up with people calling me ‘Gerard’, but now I like it, it is memorable and that’s really useful!
