Work History:
I was working since 1997. I was a management consultant in Hong Kong and Singapore. I then worked in China in a textile and clothing manufacturing company as their supply chain manager. Then I moved to the UK in 2005 to work for a big medical equipment and software company called GE Healthcare, where I mainly improved service delivery processes.

Current Job:
At Amazon, my job as the UK Transport Operations Manager include a number of different areas. First, I forecast the number of trucks we need across the UK, on which day and at what time. Second, I am part of the team who designs on how many stops a parcel need to make after leaving an Amazon warehouse before arriving at your home. Third, I am working on making the time between you click on the website to buy something, to when it is shipped out as short as possible. So that people can buy things on line very late at night and still get it the next day.

Employer:

How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
adventurous, sporty, early-bird
What's the best thing you've done in your career?
I designed new processes that helped doctors who use medical software of the company I worked for, to get to the qualified technicians in one phone call, to solve their problem remotely using remote desktop control. This helped the doctors to review their patients’ XRay pictures and make a quicker diagnose.
Were you ever in trouble at school?
Yes, many times :-)
If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?
A designer of household products
Who is your favourite singer or band?
Not one favourite, but I like listening to indie bands
What's your favourite food?
Peanut butter on toast
What is the most fun thing you've done?
Travelled to Tromso which is in the very far north of Norway, within the Artic Circle, to run the midnight sun half marathon. We started at 10pm and finished at midnight, and it was still light!
Tell us a joke.
I have a fluffy gray cat called Tio. He was 4 years old when I adopted him, and now he is turning 10. The other day, I was patting him and realised that his coat is of a different colour than before. I said, “Tio is turning gray”.
