• Question: would you rather be the best engineer but nobody would know or invent something pretty good and everybody would know

      Most engineers don’t do what they do for recognition. If you like that sort of thing you are better of being a sports star of an actor! Engineers do what they do because they love solving problems. I work hard everyday to make sure I am being the best engineer I can be.

      Mmmm. I have to say I would really really like some recognition – I am human after all – but it’s not what gets me up in the morning…

      I guess I just find a day of problem-solving satisfying!

      I think the satisfaction of the work far outweighs any fame you could get. I would much rather be good at what I do, and use any public platform to advance the industry.
