Unfortunately, not in any sort of cool way like Terminator.
Robots are very complicated, and are built to sense/do many things. At least, this is the case with the ones I”m using. It’s often tedious getting them to work perfectly for your experiment as there are always things built in to them you might not be aware of.
For example, I found out yesterday our robot, PR2, has comfort positions. This means that I will tell it to go to a position, but it will move its arm in an unexpected way in an effort to position it such that it minimizes wear.
