Question: how did you get your aprentaship

I worked at the company over the summer holidays whilst I was at school to earn a bit of money. When I left college I asked if they had any positions, luckily a draughtsman (guy that does technical drawings) had just left so I tried it out for 2 weeks and never left. That was in the January, by September I had completed 2 courses at college (at night) for computer aided drawing and had started a part time degree in building services at university (paid for by the Company). Work experience can be very useful for future contacts
