      This is what the Telegraph have to say: Starting salaries in engineering begin around £27,000 per annum, while those earning in the top 10% of the profession (senior engineers) bring home upwards of £110,000 each year. The average salary for all engineers working in the UK is close to £40,000 per annum
      …so yeah, not bad at all!
