I didn’t know there was a prize when I signed up for the event. I’m not sure what my chances are, after taking part in the chats this week and reading some of the other engineers’ answers there’s some tough competition! Everyone has really interesting ideas and backgrounds, with each of us having something different to offer. Obviously I would like to win so that I can donate the money to the cause (detailed in my profile) but I think we are all here to just share our love of engineering and hopefully inspire some of you guys to think about it as a career choice

This isn’t about the winning for me to be honest, I mean trying to inspire you all about how cool it is to sell air products is pretty tough against what some of the other guys here do! I don’t imagine any of you walking away from this week saying Yup I know what I wanna do in the future, I’m going to sell oxygen – I certainly wouldn’t have said that If I’d met myself 15 years ago!
But hopefully between the 6 of us we’ve let you know a bit about what is out there in the world of engineering and hopefully for a few of you it’s made you just a little bit more excited about getting a STEM job in the future 🙂
