I get new problems to solve every day. Problems that are solved a mathematical or logical approach.
And I get to solve them by trying out solutions.
So it suits my way of learning and working.
The work isn’t repetitive and allows me to be creative, even if it is designing how a customer’s cloud solution should fit together and which bits of the world it should be in.
I guess problem solving and more specifically to construction, being able to see what you have helped build. There is nothing better than looking at something you helped build from the ground up
There are a variety of areas you can cover by being only one type of engineer which I think is great. For example, civil engineers can work on houses, roads, hospitals and stadiums. This presents you with all kinds of obstacles which helps you to improve your problem solving skills.
Also, you get to see what you’ve designed actually being built and used which gives you a real sense of accomplishment.
