• Question: why and when did you decide to be an engineer?

      Hi (again) Stormy,

      It’s sort of strange but I didn’t really consciously decide to be an engineer, it just turned out that way! I followed the subjects that I enjoyed at school and they led me to an engineering degree at University and then into engineering job afterwards. My desire to understand how things work or how they’re made has always been strong and that is what drives most engineers.

      Right after I did summer work experience on a construction site. I loved my time on site and so decided that was what I wanted to do!
