When I was 18 I had no idea what to do! Before studying chemical engineering I was accepted on Physics, mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering courses.
Eventually I stuck with chemical engineering because it was a good combination of all the things I liked in science but it took a long time to realise that.
Trying things out is the best way to find out what you like, if you are lucky enough to get a cool work experience in an engineering role it will help you make your mind up.
I never thought about it till I came to university but I had some really good lecturers that inspired me to carry one with engineering!
I picked this kind because it seemed to be the one with the broadest mix of maths and science and now i get to work with the people who inspired me to become an engineer and also try and inspire others to do the same!
