I don’t know too much about military technology but I’ve heard about some armour that is soft when you touch it gently but then goes rock solid if it is hit hard (by things like bullets or knifes). So it acts a little bit like a solid and a little bit like a liquid… it’s called rheology you can play with it yourself if you get some water and corn flour in a bowl, the faster you stir it the harder it becomes!!!
Future military tech seems to be branching out into loads of different directions. Some people have been working on ways to develop light weight armour to lessen the load soldiers have to carry and new variations of supplies for the field. For the vehicles they’ve gone from land rovers to tanks chassis made from armour plates with infra red night vision driving options and drones to remove humans from the battlefront. The next half decade could be fascinating to see what technology the military start utilising.
