Well, in Polan cabbage is quite a popular ingredient in dishes. Some of the people I meet the first time and they learn I’m from Poland, they joke that we only eat cabbage haha.
I like it.
The interesting fact: sour cabbage is also high in vitamin C, so it’s also good for you. It also has lots of other vitamins and minerals that are good for you: manganese, dietary fiber, potassium, vitamin B1, folate, and copper. Additionally, cabbage is a good source of choline, phosphorus, vitamin B2, magnesium, calcium, selenium, iron, pantothenic acid, protein and niacin.
Haha, we’re getting a lot of food related questions this week which is totally fine with me as I spend a lot of the day thinking about it! I do enjoy pickled cabbage and things like sauerkraut, my partner also makes there own that is delicious! Red cabbage, green cabbage, white cabbage, Chinese cabbage….you name it and I’ll eat it. To be fair, I’ll eat pretty much every vegetable…..except raw celery, not a fan.
