Question: what would you like to discover next

In the next six months as I finish my doctorate I would like to discover how and why carbon has an effect on the different phases, (different structures of the same material but with different properties), in my tantalum coatings and impacts the interface between the coating and the materials such as creating voids or holes. Not very exciting I know but that will help me finish my thesis and become Dr Hollie! After that it will depend on the next project I get to work on! Personally I would like to discover better ways of producing coatings that can mean that rocket engines can operate at even higher temperatures that means that can generate more thrust and be used for future Mars exploration missions. What sort of things would you like to discover in the future?
