I was always pretty ‘good’, especially in school in never really got into much trouble. Mostly because I enjoyed all of the lessons and had a really good group of friends.

I don’t think I said I was always in trouble but when I was it was general with the PE teacher. I don’t think my PE teacher liked people who weren’t good at sports, particularly football. I have to be honest, I am rubbish at football. Because I am tall my best sport was basketball but unfortunately we didn’t play that very often.

Well, I did get in trouble because I like to talk. I talked to other kids at school and the classes and teachers didn’t really like it because I was distracting them. The teacher wanted to make an example of me and asked me some hard-ish questions about the subject but I very often have known the answer, so there was no way to keep me quite haha…
I also never liked to be told what to do, I liked my independence and wanted to make my own decisions. I did not like the stereotype roles and behaviours that one was supposed to follow. I was and am my own person and I think it was not fully appreciated because I was a girl.
I don’t get in trouble now, I am still quite direct in my communications with others but learning to sound polite, it helps. I just don’t really like to waste time for small talk, there is so much to do, to learn that I often wish I didn’t have to sleep haha.
