Question: How would you create an green energy and cheep source?

Although energy is outside my area of expertise, I think I would focus efforts on trying to improve the efficiency of solar energy and batter storage that used materials that were widely available. I love the idea of being able to generate all of your necessary energy at home/business/on the move without having to rely on the complex power grid and power stations. There is a lot of work required to make solar and battery storage cheap and available worldwide.
