• Question: If someone told you 5 years ago that you would be an engineer, what would you say??

      I was an engineer 5 years ago, but if someone told me 5 years ago I will have passed my doctorate and working as a researcher to develop devices for the heart, I’d have probably not believed them!

      I already was 5 years ago. If they said I’d still be an engineer in 5 years, I’d probably believe them. It’s a great profession that is hard to quit.

      Five years ago I was already an engineer. I wouldn’t have been surprised. If you had told me that I would still be working on the same project in the same research team I would have been more surprised.

      I would have been happy though. Five years ago I knew I loved my job and wanted to keep doing it for as long as possible. Some days I get tired but it’s worth it. If you said to me that I would still be an engineer in five years from now, my answer would be the same. I would be delighted and grateful.
