I have worked on a device that lifts and holds skin out of the way when doing robotic thyroid surgery.

At the moment I’m working on a needle device that can steer in the brain and deliver treatments for cancer.

I also have a project where for a device used in treating incontinence.

In all of those projects I am a small part in a diverse project team.

I have developed a number of 3D printed devices that help surgeons cut bone in the right place, move it to a new locations, drill holes correctly then reconstruct the body with a titanium implant.

I’ve also developed ways of using 3D scanning, computer design software and 3D printing to make splints and other devices to help people who need their limbs supported.

I’ve also developed ways of using computer technologies to design and make facial prostheses (replacement eyes, ears and noses for example).

At the moment, I’m in the middle of designing and making an implant to help reconstruct somebody’s collar bone.
