My Work

Research Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover. My team made the next Bond villain car.

My Typical Day: I spend a fair bit of time looking in to new technologies so we know how they’re developing, brainstorming ways to use them on cars and speaking to suppliers to work out if the cool new idea we’ve had would be possible and affordable.

What I'd do with the money

Give it to a hackspace to buy a 3D printer. It’s great new technology and hands on experience is the best way to learn!

  Not good at instructions

  What's the best thing you've done in your career?

  Carried on learning! I especially enjoyed doing a masters level course in 3D printing in the Netherlands

  What did you want to be after you left school?

  An Engineer

  Were you ever in trouble at school?

  No comment!!

  If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?

  An astronaut was my first choice. I didn’t really have a back up plan so probably travelling…

  The 2 Bears

  What's your favourite food?

  Cake probably!

  What is the most fun thing you've done?

  Paragliding in South America is probably up there…
