      Only when I have stepped onto sinking ships to take off casualties as part of the RNLI. I have never been on a sinking ship myself- something that I am very grateful for!

      A couple of my colleagues have been on sinking vessels and have described their experiences to me. It sounds very scary and disorientating! Trying to find the exit when the ship is listing (angles to the side) is very difficult- especially at night!
