• Question: is it hard designing your projects and what happens if they don't like it or if they do like it?

      Hi, all my projects have already been designed and it a hard job getting it so it does what it’s meant too at the end, the design engineers do a great job. I have to work out I can build it faster and cheaper than what people have estimated at the start, that is an exciting. I have to put designs through for checking, sometimes they are not quite right and don’t get done because the designers have run calculations which couldn’t do on site. If they pass other engineers checks my designs can go forward and be built.

      I don’t have to do too much designing but I work with the design engineers to improve the designs. It can be difficult and sometimes my design ideas get rejected because it’s too difficult or expensive to make but it’s all a learning curve and it’s always better to have too many ideas than not enough so that you can pick the best one.
