• Question: When you were younger did people bully you because you wanted to be an engineer and if you did how did you get over it?

      Good question, I think because we are different people seem to notice, I didn’t get bullied for wanting to be an engineer. Being an good engineer it helps to have a good memory if I was bullied, I would remember and say to myself “one day you might be asking me to fix your problem!” 🙂

      I didn’t know I wanted to be an engineer when I was at school, but I did get bullied a bit when I was younger. I got over it by telling someone who I could confide it and by continuing to be myself. My friends were really supportive and I just continued to ignore the bullies as much as I could. One day the bullying just stopped. (Playing rugby and being in the cadet force also helped a lot I think!)

      If you are being bullied the best thing to do is to tell someone. Always be yourself and do what you know is right!
