• Question: Can you tell me what the very quick way is to solve the Rubik's cube? For example, in under 30 seconds. Or is there a web page with this info on?

I have yet to solve a Rubik’s cube myself (even following the instructions, I still can’t quite manage the final layer) but I’ve seen a number of the robots solving them…

So do you want to solve it or do you want a robot to solve it for you?

If you want to solve one yourself that quickly that will take lots and lots and lots of practice, here is the place to start http://uk.rubiks.com/solving-guide/3×3

The robot I know of uses lego (I love lego) and details are here http://www.lego.com/en-gb/mindstorms/news/2012/april/have-your-own-robot-solve-a-rubiks-cube

this little one is not as fast as the one featured in the Christmas lectures but there are loads of videos on youtube and the like of different versions.

The lego Mindstorms system is very cool, it was also the little robot that followed the white line, and you can get all sort of other gadgets for it.

      Hi Daren,

Just to add on the answer, the way to solve a Rubik’s cube very fast is to learn some moves and then apply them as needed. Each permit to do something like moving a dot on the side or allying colums together. So once you know many moves and are able to see qht move to use in which situation you will be fast to solve the cubes.

      Have fun,
      W.
