• Question: when you were racing the Jaguars, how thick was the ice?

      It was probably over 30cm thick, if you think about it a Jaguar car weighs something like 2,000kgs so the ice has to be really thick on the lake before it can stand the weight of a car.

      Fortunately there were some local people who were with us who knew if the ice was thick enough to drive on before we took the car onto the lake.
