• Question: As a member of the WES what projects have you done to encourage girls to look into engineering?

      HI, I only joined WES a few months ago so i have to admit i haven’t done as much as I’d like yet.

      I attend schools that request me to discuss careers and encourage women that they shouldn’t be scared to work in a stereotypical “Man’s World”.

      If you look out on 23rd June (NationalWomen in Engineering Day) there tend to be lots of events on aruond the UK to try and encourage others. Or even on twitter there are lots of “#NWED2017”

      BTW – I notice your photo is of the golden gate bridge! That is my dream – to design bridges!

    That is cool! I chose the pic because i just liked the look of it and I think it is quite interesting how different bridges can look.
