      Neither – it’s not a job, it’s a passion and your gender, religion, culture or colour have no relevance on your ability to be an engineer.

      Engineering can be for any one who is interested and has a passion for it. Boy or Girl.

      It’s for anyone who has a passition for it, gender doesnt effect that. If anything I believe diversity throughout engineers is the key, people who think differently working together are more likely to come up with a solution.

    I guess the thought of an engineer still has an image of a guy in overalls, under the bonnet of a car ! However, times have really changed and although the majority of engineers tend to be male, there are increasing numbers of females who come into the profession. It is unlikely that a pair of greasy overalls are needed anymore !
