Our customer are using our products in their work to further oceanographic scientific research, install undersea communication cables to keep the internet working, looking for & establishing our energy requirements (building off shore wind farms, wave gens, natural gas, oil, minerals and tidal turbines), and protecting vulnerable environments… indirectly we all benefit from them

      Hi Sam,

If my research is successful, it’ll benefit anyone who has a smart phone or device and that’s most people in the world because everyone will be happier with faster data

I’m working on technology that hopefully will help people who don’t have full function from every part of their body. For example, we have developing a new design of Retinal Prosthesis that connects a camera to the nerves behind someones eye, this kind of technology may eventually allow blind people to see, although it is still very experimental and will take a long time to be widely available.

A more advanced piece of technology that is very similar (although one that I haven’t done any work on) are cochlear implants – artificial ears that have been restoring hearing to people with certain types of deafness.

In hot times like this weekend people will feel nice and cool in places with our aircon! – also when using in hospitals it prevents people being contaminated in surgery and in art galleries it preserves the paintings..
