I picked the job I’m doing now because it combined everything I enjoy about being an engineer.
I get to play with some cool kit, I’m learning new stuff all the time, I get to work with a great team of people and I deliver training which I’ve loved doing for years. In addition I get to fly all over the world, meeting new people and seeing new places.

I didn’t – the job picked me. I got offered to do an apprenticeship alongside completeing a degree, working at Daikin Applied. I have never looked back since I started though, it’s a perfect fit for me.

      Hi,

When I was a kid, I was always interested in how things worked. I got into trouble for breaking up my toys to find out why they sang or spoke! And in high school, my favourite subjects where physics and maths. That’s why I choose to become an engineer and I’m glad I did!

I always liked the idea of being able to invent something to solve problems, changing the world for the better through technology. I also wanted to be able to play with some really cool pieces of high-tech equipment. In my case, biomedical engineering combined my interest in all the sciences and I feel like I am working on solving issues that are really important.
